Cabin Detector with Counter in Binary Format | MIT-ADT | Teamleader


• Developed the prototype circuit which detects number of people entered in the designated premises.
• Sensors and IC’s used - PIR Sensor, IC555 (Timer IC) & IC74HC93 (4 Bit Binary counting IC).
• Key learnings - different modes of Timer IC, time delay of the IC555, use of capacitor and resistor for time adjustment.
• Displayed results in the binary format using LED’s.
• Use Case - Classrooms, Cabins, Waiting Zones, Hotels or any closed premise to count the number of people entered.

NodeMCU Based Alcohol Detector | MIT ADT


• This is a prototype device, when inserted into mouth detect the presence of alcohol consumption.
• The identification of alcohol presence is achieved through the analysis of oral emissions, with the NodeMCU employing the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to provide precise readings of the concentration of alcohol gas.
• Conducted exploration and analysis of the MQ3 sensor along with study of NodeMCU.

Achievements

• Internal “Smart India Hackathon-2023” (MIT-ADT): secured 2nd Runner-Up position in this internal Hackathon. presented an idea of e-portal to have a pre-trial case in the online mode.
• Class Rank 3rd in 9th SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) International Mathematics Olympiad (2015-2016).
